A New Team, Same Gratitude: Devils Opening Night

If you ever catch me during the National Anthem at a game I’m hosting, you might notice me quietly mouthing a few words. That’s my moment. A quick check-in between me and God—acknowledging where I came from, recognizing where I am, and asking for a little guidance for what’s ahead.

Standing on the ice for Opening Night with a new NHL team, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelming gratitude. Hearing the anthem while representing the New Jersey Devils was a reminder of how fortunate I am to be back on this stage once again.

This marks my third season working in the NHL and my second organization, and I’m beyond excited to bring the same energy, fun, and passion to a Devils fanbase that’s hungry for it. The role looks a little different this time around. I’m now working alongside co-host Jenna Lemoncelli—new for me, but an absolute blessing. She’s welcomed me with open arms, and having that partnership has made the transition seamless.

I’m no longer managing a promo team, which allows me to fully lock in on hosting. The sponsors are different. The rhythms of the games are different. But the electricity from the crowd? That part never changes.

I’m incredibly grateful to do what I love—on the ice, under the lights, and in front of fans who make it all worth it.
